Working in partnership with Tufts University, the Engagement Game Lab developed a pilot project to more effectively train students working as volunteers in several communities throughout the Boston region.

The game is a web-based multiplayer game that engages students with Tufts’ educational material, teaching players to work together and support one another as they help restore color to a fictional game world.

Civic Seed was built in iterations of development and testing. As a contractor during its second phase, I led full-stack development and UI engineering, working closely with the illustrator and game designer at EGL. Ultimately, we created a polished prototype for beta testing with the target student audience.
